Man, at least it didn't turn out you made a bet about whether the Earth still exists with Vexus explaining to us that it does not!

So apparently you cant even read and follow the basic logic.
Since your capabilities seemingly only extend to pulling a dictionary definition and changing subject, I guess my time was wasted here.
Sad days.

You are correct, there is nothing to misinterpret except your preconceived uneducated notions of what being logged in actually is.

You are just a sockpuppet too scared to post your trash on your regular account.

If the dev says the characters are both "LOGGED IN" <-(keyword here) dallane won fair & square. Bringing something like linguistics in a simple bet to try and weasel out of it for someone else makes me think of Suffragium.

We could go on and on about how languages, meaning of words etc changes over time and no less internet lingo, Just shows that you wish to sound smarter than theese posts show to anyone with half a brain.

Attacks weaken your argument.

Yes, and if the devs decide that in Salem, they want to say that being "logged in" is just having a character in persistence on the server, then Heffernan loses the bet if he understands that the definition is different here than anywhere else.

I am fairly certain the devs will make a distinction between those two events though if asked to clarify.

They have already said he lost multiple times on here and in PMs.

As I head off:

There is a difference here, between being logged in - that means you have access - being logged into a character in game, means you have access, or control, over that character, and a character still showing to other players in the game world.

If you are playing, you are logged in, and then close the client, you are logged out. You no longer have access.

At that point, the server can be programmed to keep your character in game for any length of time. That character existing in game is NOT you being logged in.

It is extremely basic to be able to tell there is a difference. But most people associate the character with the person, and don't know how to think about the problem in these terms.

With no proof you had the funds to risk the bet, it doesn't really matter right now.

Again we can debate all we want about language differences & how internet slang changes. It will not change anything. Heff lost the bet. The fact that you have such a thin argument is the reason for "attacks" as you call it. Did i hit the nail on the head. Are you Suff?

If you wanna have a laugh, Here's urban dictionary's definition of "Logged in"

Bye Heffernan!

Dunno why this guy is so persistent at implying Dallane doesn't have this 10k silver. I lent it to Dallane myself
