There is nothing to misinterpret here.

I don't think I've seen someone lose as much rep as Vexus has in under 10 post.

I'd say you have many colleagues in the real world with the "Hands Up Don't Shoot" crowd et al.

So whos sockpuppet are you? Nvm i dont care.

Anyhow so what youre saying is that based on the wording the bet both parties agreed to is invalid? You sir would probably get your ass kicked anywhere where gambling is involved.

As i said to Clayet who came up with the same argument(When Clayet has the same argument as you you know youre on thin ice lol) Theres obviously no point in arguing with you because we tell you how it is and you go "nuh-uh cuz in my imagination thats not how the world works!"

And yes its a good idea to hide behind a sockpuppet account when defending Heff the way you are doing now. I for one would not trust you.

I know, maybe I need to get the devs, or other computer science grads in here to explain what being "logged in" means. Being "logged in" does not mean that the server keeps your character in game while you are logged off. If that were even the case, that sentence wouldn't even make sense. There is a distinction between a character logged in to the game, and having the server do work to keep your character in persistence in the game world.

The quick snap was to side with Dallane and everyone, including the devs, did so. The result was everyone dismissing any other side to the story. I am showing the logical, factual side. Heffernan has his side, and Dallane has his. We have courts, judges, etc, because when two sides disagree, it comes down to fact and logic. And as someone not invested in trying to be anyone's friend, I can state these facts with a clear mind.

You are correct, there is nothing to misinterpret except your preconceived uneducated notions of what being logged in actually is.

No, I conclude that Dallane LOST the bet, and owes Heffernan 10k silver. The bet is only invalidated if Dallane made the bet and does not have 10k, in which case, is the same as someone saying, "I bet you a millions dollars...!" In other words, we know it is not true. If that is the case, then everyone needs to stop talking, and Dallane loses "rep" (lmao) by making a bet with money he doesn't have.

Regarding a sockpuppet account, unless the devs / mods are malicious towards players in game due to forum posts... hmm maybe they are... so yeah must use sockpuppet account...

Your ***** linguistics have no power here. You are logged in as long as the server decides. Whether or not you have the "access".
Shooting yourself in the head or loosing internet connection doesn't necessarily make you instantly log out, as evidenced by many online applications.
So please, take your own advice, and educate yourself further on the subject before making such ridiculous claims.

I am not vying for power. I am ruining your casual gamer idea that being logged in is equal to having your character still existing in the game when your client is logged out. They are different.

You are just a sockpuppet too scared to post your trash on your regular account.

If the dev says the characters are both "LOGGED IN" <-(keyword here) dallane won fair & square. Bringing something like linguistics in a simple bet to try and weasel out of it for someone else makes me think of Suffragium.

We could go on and on about how languages, meaning of words etc changes over time and no less internet lingo, Just shows that you wish to sound smarter than theese posts show to anyone with half a brain.

See Dallane? You made a bet with Heff about something totally different than what you both thought and meant!
