Questionable Effective Shovel

So yea I know why it happened lol but is there anyway to get the shovel back?

Yea we have one now, trying to figure out how to get it back to normal.

I would try going to craft a shovel see if it turns green. May only need a nail or handle to fix it. If that doesn't work I would try the repair command while at an anvil or right clicking the item on an anvil. Anyone lower their madness level to 0 while using the shovel?

I even dug multipul times with it going up 1%, to prove to the shovel it is still effective >.>' but it never worked
