Passive Madness

Postby HolyLight » Wed Jun 03, 2015 11:47 am

Well today a weird altercation has occured, a village member who logged off yesterday with Level 0~1 Madness, logs in with Level 9 madness.

He panics a little and logs out.

When i log in, i hook him up, 2 Gold tobacco smokes later, he is Level 7 Madness (really? Only 1 level reduction per puff of Tier 3 from level 9????), but how this happened still remains a mystery.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how someone could gain 7~8 levels of Madness why logged off? He was logged off in the mine, but he has 2 characters who were logged out in the mine, and only his main character seemed to gain excessive amounts of Madness.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Please share Madness encounters.

Nope.

You cannot log out with a crime debuff, and he was LOGGED OUT !

I may be wrong, but hasn't something been said about logging off while overburdened? Maybe that's it

Happened to me as well, but for me when I logged out the salem screen was all black which means it actually crashed so game was still running in my taskmanager. I think that keeps you logged in from what I read some place else. So now every time I log out I make sure you check taskmanager for Java. :) Still struggling to get it to come down. I must say though all the psychotic breaks are pretty fun.

Plz dont caps lock me to death :(
You do realize some people just force close their client and forget they had any log out preventing debuff at all and their char stays online.
Also did you friend complain about the insanity patch? JC might have been trolling your friend.

Yeah, but then character stays online and you can see it in game, as well as in your kin list as online. I assume that's what HolyLight meant
