Watch what you character does. It will tell you what you have.

Read the wiki article on diseases to learn more. Or watch the tutorial youtube video that's somewhere around on the forums. But basically do what Dallane said paired with the info of how "what your char does" behaves, what it means, etc etc. The Tribe wiki disease page is now also matched by a page on the other wiki so at least one should be up for you to inform yourself on. The important thing to note is to not spam medicine until later on in the disease's development, as early on symptoms are more random, and the one matched with the actual disease you have becomes more frequent the fuller your bar gets. So either count 100 symptoms to make sure one is actually somewhat prevalent or wait it out a bit to get a better feel for it.
