Sifting Rubble

Postby Taipion » Fri May 22, 2015 5:40 pm

Hello! :-)

I might be mistaken, as it is a while since I last sifted something, but when I did, it was done automatically, meaning you click once, and it continues till there is no rubble left, or you stop it.
(iirc it was not that way when sifting was implemented first, but was later on changed to be that way)

Now, after quite a while, I sifted again, and it now requires 1 click per rubble.
(tried vanilla client and latikais)

Is that intentional?
Is that a bug?
Was it not announced or did I just not see it?

I'd say that it is unnecessary, and should not require you to click like theres no tomorrow, whereas there actually will be no tomorrow, at least for your mouse, if you sift a lot...
I'd continue to argument that difficulty in a game should not be base on such repetitive "challenges", but on those that require thought and skill, and sifting definately does not.
But well, let's see first why things are now as they are! :D

Are you using Latikai client? On the default client auto-sifting is not a thing. On Latikai with the latest update you need to go in the Options and activate it through the Cheats tab.

So this was never a feature in the default client, but latikai added it, and now theres an option for it to activate it so I thought its gone, wow! :D

Thanks!
