why can't I get advanced cooking? I have Intermediate cooking and French Cuisine but it doesn't even offer me Advanced cooking

You probably need more advance skills like Venison cuising or Baking.

The last one i needed for advanced cooking was smoked meats.
Exactly 6.022 x 10^23 worth of Lach molecules.
