Returning Pilgrim Searching for Group/Town

Postby Nimmeth » Mon May 18, 2015 10:05 pm

Hello :)

I've found my way back to salem after a relative long break, But none of the people i played with before is anywhere to be found so i find myself without any people to play with
I left salem because of IRL stuff, (i were a sailor, and that limited time i had at home was dedicated for my son and wife) and also in a bit of frustration of the slack from the former Devs ( tho i do love em :) )

Now that i have a new job that does not take me away for longer time, and my son has gotten older then i can once again take some time off from the real world and yet again enter the world of salem.

In the past i've been attacked ( em ruskies ), i've fleed. i've defended. had a damm good time. i have a little weakness (if you can call it that) to help out new people. i'm not a PVP'er and i don't like drama and deceit.

What am i looking for?

I'm looking for like minded people, people that play salem peacefully, but willing to defend the turf if any unprovoked threats arises. sharing knowledge but not necessary materials.
I prefer playing with people from North America/Scandinavian/Western Europe, and i prefer Voice chat in some form.

I did apply for a town yesterday, but it seems they are full so i am trying my luck here in the open.

I do not think i have any people that is active that can vouch on me, maybe there is someone that remembers me helping them out under the name (lingmao)

What to expect from me?

If you trust me enough to let me in at your group you can expect me being 100% loyal to the town, and TBH i would rather like if i was givin a minimum of keys to doors/claims.
(so that in case something went missing then i would not be a suspect)
Do not expect any betrayal as you will get none from me, and none will ever get any. i'm not into spy games or such activities, and i rather despite it.

Expect that i would very very rarely call upon a favor, i like to grind my own stuff and never refuse to help out a common goal.

My salem History:

I was dragged into this game by a friend who is no longer playing, the sever was Roanoke. He were really advanced in his farming (90% - 100%). This was a long time before it was sold on the markeds.
he was a rather good mentor. But some day we were attacked by russians without warning (we were like a couple of silvers away from getting a town claim,) but he were killed in a split second while i managed to run away.

after that i was in search for a new home, managed to befriend some Americans and hook up with them, tho i was never a part of their down Claimwise, (was located a couple of map tiles away)
then they did insist on my having a key to their shared space, i helped them defend their claim from russians, this time i was prepared after researching and figure out defenses.
we had a pretty solid defence. and enough materials stored away for repairs, we managed to fend them off for hours and let them to believe we were only 2 tho we were 5 and while they were chasing 2 of us then the other 3 would repair,

very fun time for me :)

after a while people starting move along to other games one by one, and yet again i found myself alone.
After a couple of months i decided to spice things up and i made a new character on Plymouth.

Here i found exactly what i needed at that time, the constant fear of getting hunted.
On the Forums i was Tribe Fan Boy! hahahaha, Yea they are a brilliant source of fun, with their stories and deciet (that's the good kind of deceit, because everyone knows they will deceit you in order for a good story on the forums)

Long story short,
i was giving the impression that the MM Tribe did not have the full map of Plymouth ( i think chief knew that i knew he was full of **** :P) but none the less very fun for me to walk around and store map tiles.
somedays i was giving specific directions, sometimes i walked the exact other way. other time i went that direction but always a bit funny to see specific people waiting on me at that path :P

Very very fun for me, i also did it because i hoped to keep them interested in the game, in my eyes they were the only hope we had for a better salem, they were much needed to take over the project.
and TBH i did not dare to dream of how much Progress they have made, it's a really good job :) and i guess more will come :)

After my long break then i consider myself a newb, i still know the basics. but there is a way to go before i've learned all the stuff implemented in the game.

Hope you consider me, and if you do then please do not reply in this thread but rather contact me in a PM (you have to have a solid Salem rep for being peacefull, that's important to me)
and i would absolutely love a Voice conversation before settling down, (also i would prefer that the town/grp have voice communication, i have a backup mumble server available )

it fells a bit awkward for me to write this, and surely there is typos but please ignore them, my english is a bit rusty :)
