Interesting, I see little information on tea in forums. NPC sell "Tea leaves" and tea pods. How do you get different colors?

You put it on the drying frame and it will turn to Yellow Tea and if you let it longer on the Drying Frame you will get black tea.

For Phlegm Regen: If you leave the tea leaves in a box for a day or two they will turn into wilted tea leaves. You can then boil those leaves in a pot (1 per pot/ copper pot advised) and the water in the pot will turn into tea. You can then drink the tea out of a flask. 1L of tea will give you a full buff (regen 1 Phlegm every 2-3 seconds) which is still not enough to mine indefinably under buff but which should give you a nice endurance. The Buff lasts 15 min you can reset those 15 min by sipping your tea (0.1L). So 1.1L of tea should give you 29 minutes buff (because you won't sip at the last second or the buff will run out), 1.2L 43 min, etc.

You can buy a teapod at the stalls which you can then plant with Shrub Orchards. It has a chance to fail and may turn into a branch. But if it succeed then you can plant it like any shrub and it will yield 6 leaves every few days. I have 4 bushes which is plenty for the need of my village.

Beside tea, i would suggest any kind of pie (Humble meat, Pumpking, Berry...) or cabbage crumbs.

I appreciate the suggestions. I've been making tons of frikadels, and spending as much time hunting and cooking as mining.

When you have better mining gear, mining will take less phlegm, so you might want to look into that, too.
