Legit question about kill and die

As i said in the post, legit question.

1) Can i die offline? I mean, someone can find me and kill me when im not online?
2) If i die, its permadeath, gg char, or can i return with some of my status?

Yes you die. When you die, you can choose to inherit from last char, as son/nephew or whatever, regain some of the loss.

The only way you can die while being offline is if you have commited summonable scents (crimes like larceny, waste, murder, etc...).

You can regain some of your lost biles/prof by inheriting (30% of your total biles/prof when setting up your estate that you can do at the graveyard). You may also bury your corpse with another character and then put flowers on the grave. After a while if you choose to inherit it will be with more biles/prof than you would normally have without burying your ancestor.

Graves only help restore proficiencies, not humors. Why does everyone keep saying 'biles', anyway? Only Yellow Bile and Black Bile are biles. :/

Inheritance will restore a percentage of your humors and proficiencies from the time you updated it. But unless you bought the store item, you must update regularly.

And yes, you can only die while offline if you have committed crimes and the summonable scents are still viable. If you're peaceful, you're safe from death. But you can still be looted if someone accesses the leanto or claimstone you've homesteaded.

Everyone should call them "Tempers", obviously - that's what it 's called in the code.

Tempers and Humours are at least directly related 1-to-1 so could be used fairly interchangeably without causing a problem, but when some one says biles they are only referring to 2 of the humours.
