Question about game release

Hello,
I watched the video Surviving Salem #1: Getting Started - Crafting MMO Game from GamerZakh. Should I start playing now, or better to wait for official release?
What exactly will happend after june 19th? I will not lose all my items and exp?

On june 19th new expedition server will start. Expeditions will last for a short time (couple months). Our permanent server, Providence, will not be whiped. So if you plan to play on Providence it doesn't matter when you start. If you want a fresh start with everyone else then you can wait for expeditions. However, even then I would suggest starting now on Providence to learn the game and maybe find some allies before heading to expeditions

They haven't really described it yet. It might be either.

They have described the ***** out of it to be fair >.> Don't propagate your ambiguous views on current and potential future game mechanics on here. It has been said that you'll need to make fresh chars for expeditions and that said chars would cease to exist come the end of the expedition. The one thing that might affect the whole result at the end of the expedition is wether you have a char on the main server or not that can receive his post-expedition loot in their mailbox, as i assume that's how it'll be awarded to you. So yes, do keep a char on the main server if you wish to have some permanence, and some benefit from the expedition races.

Claeyt, is a liar and a troll, don't listen to him(I have no idea why they keep letting him off his ban).

You will need a new character for the expedition but you will be able to support your expedition characters in minor ways with your characters from Providence and eventually send some things back from the expedition to your characters in Prov. When the witches destroy the expedition server you will be able to inherit a portion of their stats like normal. Until the expedition actually happens any of this could change, but it can be assumed to likely to be how it will work, until JC says otherwise.
