Peaceful Town?

I was perusing the server from a few years ago and it looks like shortly after I stopped playing, Jamestown might possibly (I have yet to read everything) have become one giant town. That is all fine and good but I really liked playing by myself. I am not anti social. I just like not having to answer to other people while helping other people out in the process. It almost reminds me of bullying in school or worse yet, answering to a boss who constantly threatens to terminate you, and I already have that in my life. I loved playing Salem. I hope that I can get back into it because it truly was a very enjoyable game.

There is currently only one server. Many things have changed since you last played.

Nothing like darwoth or the MM tribe of the old old old times. Because of the changes i stated above you can't destroy a claim to zero, at least buildings will remain there burning for weeks.

Killing blow is also way harder to get, much rarer too. You can still get killed if you don't take precautions

If you are actually worried about getting killed then this might not be a game for you. That being said. There is a huge advantage to being the defender now.

I understand and accept the game for what it is. That is one of the fun parts of the game is the terror. However, it's another thing when the fortress that you have made gets completely destroyed in a matter on minutes so its nice to hear that the defenses have been upped.

If you played on the old servers then you will need to start a new character.
