I'm appalled at the rumors of thievery, admitting to witchery, engaging in raucous fighting on the peaceful beaches... So today I visited your town:

Now, I did not know where your town was when I set out, but for a "peaceful" town, some evidence of larceny wasn't too hard to find. I don't know the details, but it was probably just another sinful act you carry out against honest, innocent pilgrims, akin to the witchery discussed earlier in this thread. While I may not know what motivated this individual to leave larceny scents, I did recognize him from this atrocity of a video: http://forum.salemthegame.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=13507

Before I set out, I sent your fighter to the stocks: Image

I arrived to find, much to my delight, that not only was the criminals leanto in a nice open spot, you guys had also bought him out of the stocks while he was offline:

The apparent proceeds of crime, found on the criminal:

With the 12 hours I expected to spend on your tbc now free, I decided to take in my surroundings and explore the town you've all built. First, I saw a pair of your neighbors. They seemed friendly enough at first, but then they revealed that they were good friends with thieves and witches. :(

While only one more small alt was outside,

My tour was not in vain, for while you may not have all been home this time, I was able to find the scents referenced here:

and because the Kristians are so Kind, this murderer was taken care of as well:

I implore you to forego your lives of crime, repent your sins, beg forgiveness for your witchcraft, and become faithful pilgrims once more.

The ONLY one who deserved to die (other than myself) amongst these was Garna'ath, the cocky "military air force commander" who turned out to be a coward hiding behind his walls as soon as I show up. I feel sorry for the others.

Eh ah well, good going on your victory. Yeah, it was stupid of me to camp in that leanto out in the open, but in my defense I had quit Timberwolf due to some of its villagers throwing a lot of crap at me for not killing our killer (despite the fact I didn't even know how at the time as I haven't been familiarized with the justice mechanic of Salem until recently).

Wasn't sure if I wanted to keep playing the game after that as I really had no objective other than to help a village that didn't seem to want help, so I kind of just left myself out in the open out of apathy. Right now I'm kind of bored of the game, but hey, at least now I'll have a reason for playing if I get bored and feel like Saleming again: sweet, sweet revenge ;). Still, I'm honestly a little more annoyed at some of those in Timberwolf than I am with my killers, you know who you are. At least for the killers it was just business.

I still stand by my statement: nobody stole anything and you still haven't procured any proof :P.

your character was a piece of crap that can be replicated in an eyeblink, no reason to not reinvent yourself as "loud bob" that goes around silencing others.

I was hoping there would be some kind of challenge, but instead they lose some characters, and quit :(

I'm not quitting, just taking a hiatus til I feel like playing Salem again. It just gets tedious after a while with all the grinding involved at the moment, as most people know. Shoot, this whole business with our killer who rode into town and then myself getting killed has been the most fun I've had in months :). Well, the duel with Timberwolf's killer was certainly more fun, I suppose, though the latter was at least something other than the norm.

Don't get me wrong though, If I didn't think the game didn't have amazing potential, I wouldn't have helped with its music, voices, ext., so I'll be back next patch ;). Keir on the other hand... well he's kind of gone and quit, but he wasn't really that active anyway. He just kind of wanted to ***** around with the witch mechanics and got what was coming to all servants of Satan.

And as for the one who sort of helped trigger all this which then led to me having a fun fight near Providence, I dedicate Salem's Dock Club theme to you, my friend, an honorable opponent :).

At this point I now need to step in and level my two cents.

You say that one of our village stole a mask from you and that you want it back.
We say that we don't have it.

You threaten our village and demand the return of the mask.
We say that we don't have it.

You attack and kill a former member of the village as proof that you are serious in your threat and demand the return of the mask
We say that we don't have it.

Clearly this situation is going to go on until one of two things happen
1. The mask is returned to you
2. Everyone in Timberwolf is dead.

Since we don't have the mask, option 1 is clearly impossible. So that leaves only option 2: Everyone in Timberwolf is dead.

Given that that is the option we are facing, you have to consider the following question: What do we have to gain by lying to you about not having the mask?
We gain no cred on the forums by it, nor do we get any kind of special bonus from the mask itself. There is literally nothing we have to gain, and much to loose by lying to you about not having the mask.

You claim that you can break down our walls and raid our claims regardless of our defences, and in this case, I believe you. I have no doubt that you and your allies would be able to raid us, but doing so would only confirm what we have been saying all along - We don't and have never had your mask. I'm telling you this in hopes of preventing option 2 eventuating.

Taking the above points into consideration, that we have nothing to gain by lying to you, and that holding out on the mask will only result in all our deaths, I again reiterate that we don't have the mask you seek.
There is no such thing as too many gardening pots.

There is no use. KKK can't be reasoned with. For all I know this mask might as well be fictional - a cause to spill some blood.
