Your mom needs to learn just how glorious the second coming of Teddy Roosevelt would be. He would lead a great and glorious army of moose-riding soldiers to bring Americanism to the rest of the world!

Overall I feel sad. Paris was once a city I loved (visited few times). Lots of small cafes, cheap art, nice scenery and friendly people. Now it's a hell on earth like all the other big cities in Europe. You don't want to go there unarmed. European gun control quarantees no good guys carry weapons.

List of terrorist attacks in France (21st century) - you can't miss the rising trend here:

I'm afraid this is only the beginning. There are only few scenarios how this will end and not a single one is positive. But beware terrorists, we have pens and lit candles!

Europeans have to finally start dealing with immigration, just like US did long ago. I don't understand why only nationalists and radicals want to do it, and most politicians just ignore the issue.

What are you talking about? This is the silliest thing I've ever read here on the forums and that's saying something.

Paris is safer than almost any single American city. It's simply stupidity to think that Paris, one of the most beautiful cities on Earth is "Hell on Earth". You have no idea what you're talking about. You clearly have never been to any dangerous area of America. No person on this planet EXCEPT YOU thinks that you need to be armed to feel safe in Paris of all places, LOL. That has to be sarcasm or you're an idiot. If it is sarcasm then it should be colored blue.

You are an idiot. Only inbred conservative beefeaters miss Thatcher. Thatcher was reviled by not only the left but also her own party as totally out of touch with the reality of successfully governing a democracy. In the end she was proven to be a conservative ideologue who's domestic policies were completely wrong for her country and wrong for humanity in general, just where most conservative policies eventually end up.

Here's the celebration immediately after her death as Liverpool fans find out she died during a match.

read up on your stuff. There has been severe rioting in suburbs of paris as of late, from anti-semitic factions - as well as general unrest. In the international news over here (Belgium, neighbouring France) Paris (and France in general) is NOT painted in nice colours.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
