You really had no idea what was going on, did you? I'll explain: a non-KKK member came to us and accused one of our people of stealing based off, apparently, the word of someone we kicked out of the village a while ago. The KKK were friends of his of some sort. We are a peaceful town, so yes, we weren't really up to getting in a war with a major faction, so we did our best to explain that we had no idea what was going on. What you call 'being a wuss', I call 'having a brain'. After a bit it became apparent, to me at least, that the KKK just wanted an excuse to attack us and began their usual tactic of trying to discredit their targets.
And even so, your second point is moot. What the crap makes you think that some 'random noob' in our town acting high and mighty means the rest of us feel that way? If that's the case, does that mean every time a single member of a country starts saying things mean that the entire country thinks those things? No. We're just trying to play the game and have fun. The question is: what in the world do you think you're doing if you give two ***** about who thinks what about their position in a virtual sandbox? To me, it'd be funny if someone started mouthing off that they're the kings of nothing, but to you, it seems to be some sort of trigger to fly off the handle.
