Tree growth causing lag?

Postby rustles » Mon May 04, 2015 3:27 am

I just saw one of my trees grow before my very eyes the instant after a lag spike. It could be a coincidence, but I think it's worth mentioning.

Maybe this is something you guys can look into?

I'm pretty sure you just have an old computer i have a base thats mainly to mass trees with timers, and they never cause a spike and the tree growth ranges from 1-30 trees.

Don't tell me about your personal life, I don't give a ***** if your computer had some advanced ai, and you taught it to ***** you in the ass, i was merely trying to help by telling you tree growth isn't what causes lag.

Either way, it is true that tree growth doesn't cause lag. :)

Oh well, decay ticks would be perfect candidate for the cause of this kind of lag

Yeah I forgot about decay ticks. It must not be the trees alone, but all the other billion objects all changing at once XD

i'd assume that to be on a low-priority thread on the server though.

I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Once there was a lagspike when I molested a criminal in the stocks. Just one occurrence would never make me look into such problem.
