He is here to give tutorials and show off Salem. More importantly even the developers say that the best start you can have in the game is to join a town, so he is in fact representing the game very well. Something you wouldn't know any thing about, since it seems to be your goal to drive everyone away. If you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all.

I don't really think there is a "right" or "wrong" way of playing this game. Want to join a village of people that are willing to look after you and keep you safe? Totally legit. So is just going shaggy hermit and not belonging to any faction. Seems only fair that a popular streamer should attract the attention of people that'd want to look after him and make the new world a bit more hospitable. You do what you can to survive. I think it's all very meta. :)

Being part of a town and playing under a town claim are 2 way different things.

Paying for the location of said town.

There are many diffrent ways for towns to run. We dont all have huge walled citadels where everyone works for the village and only the village. Some places, my own included, work very much the same way that villages worked back in the day - where everyone owns their own claim and works however they want to, trading, helping and shareing with their neighbours, all under the same banner. I personally think that would provide the mixed type of gameplay that is needed for Gamerzakh's videos, Showing both the hermit side and the village side of the game.

JC himself wanted GamerZakh to join a village so nobody would come and raid him and so he could complete his objective: advertise the game. Ask him yourself if you don't believe me. Tone it down some, Dallane. I sometimes wonder if you're purposefully trying to sabotage this game.

Mfw noobs get fooled into playing this game thinking hey are safe.

Playing with a village is fine as I said and it's a great idea. However this isn't village play.

I'm sure GamerZakh will address your concerns in his videos. And another thing: Salem is more than just one thing. It *can* be village play and it can be perma-death survival. It's the choice, luck and skill of the player that determines this.

Dallane, if you were to make "Lets Play" videos, how would you do it?
