Salem is Imprinting it self on my Screen

Postby baboking » Thu Apr 30, 2015 1:27 pm

i have got a new screen for my pc, Samsung, after 10-15mins of game play, all the menus and everything that is staying still in the game, imprints on the screen it self,
i alt-tab and see the biles, menus, even chests now, the Screen option menu have the images imprinted as well .

over night i left the screen in a white state, it removed most of them , but as soon as i log in today, new imprints.

i just wanna know if anyone ever had this happen, and could it be something related to the resolution?

last time i seen this happen, was back in 1997, on an old 286 2 color monitor, orange/black, it would keep the dos command lines. "for ever"
plz let me know if u have any ideas.

Did you try to turn off your computer? ¦]
Sounds like something a malfunctioned graphic card will do as the stain is removed over night. Or it's your monitor breaking down somehow.
You thought I quit.

Are you getting two images imposed over each other, or are you getting actual "burn in" on the monitor? the former is caused by a bad driver, the latter shouldn't occur on a modern LCD/LED monitor unless there are hardware defects.
I am a moderator. I moderate stuff. When I do, I write in this color.

Either that or you 're actually still using a CRT. Kudos to you.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

That's not entirely true. I use a relatively high-quality (if a bit old) IPS panel, and if I leave a static image on it for some time, traces of it clearly remain when switching to something else. It goes away after a while, though. I can't say I know what causes it, but there it is.
