Please fix bounding box of blazer and wallsegments

Postby rustles » Wed Apr 29, 2015 10:40 pm

The only way I can get behind that blazer is if I tweaker click like crazy, trying different angles and manage to wedge my self in somehow. This is pretty silly considering the fact that the space is twice as wide as my character :D

Yes yes lower hitbox of everything and only apply a "minimum distance" when placed pls. That could solve the problem.

the minimum distance is already only applied while placing.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

All bounding boxes are squares or rectangles. Are you sure your brazier is lined up right? It looks like it might be crooked, which would make that space you're trying to squeeze into smaller than it should be.

So you mean its like a diamond, with the edge sticking out and blocking my path?

Meaning I need to destroy my precious blazer and build a new one?

Yes, and only if you really want to be able to walk between the brazier and the wall. Otherwise, just be careful how you build them from now on. Use shift-mousewheel to line them up on the 45 degree snap and then look at the sign once placed to be sure it's at a 90 and not at a 45 degree angle. The angle of the sign will show you what angle you placed something at.
