iam part of a small town and our mayor has been inactive for a while (>2month) - is there any way how to kick him and become mayor myself? ty for you help

You kill him.
Or put down waste and destroy the bell yourself.

I'm pretty sure that if the bell run out of money then you can claim mayorship.

no you cant - as long as the mayor is alive anyway

I had the exact same problem, you have no option except to destroy the bell when it runs out. My solution was to contact with the mayor IRL, but this isn't always possible.
