Inventory Loss

I keep getting the message when I try to log in that my space is occupied and I need to be teleported at my homestead *without* losing my inventory. I have lost my inventory every single time. I've already lost dozens of hours of work and am afraid of keeping anything of worth in my inventory as a sudden client crash and relog can make me lose everything. This doesn't happen just when the client crashes or at server restart, it also happens when I log out normally. I am using Latikai's client if that has any importance.

It's making the game completely unplayable for me.

Where do you log out? Inside doorways, inside your leanto / claimstone usually causes that sort of issue. On a claim that isn't yours that you were previously on due to a party invite. Granted you shouldn't lose your inventory if you're near your homestead when getting stuck, or in your homestead. so not sure what is happening to you :\

Generally I log out at my homestead, on occasion while out foraging. Afaik there has only been one case where the client crashed while I was carrying a barrel that occupied my position, but in all other cases nothing occupied the place where I was logged out.

Did you actually read my first post? Or are you saying that inventory vanishing randomly for no apparent reason is an intended feature?

This should only be happening as people said in previous posts, your position you log out/crash is occupied with an item/player/animal, or you log off on a claim that isn't yours where you don't have proper permissions for.

Don't logout inside your homstead, logout on empty space and this wont happen

I am logging out on an empty space, that's what I've been saying. I'm not logging out right on top of a leanto, it's next to it. And even so, the message says I'll be teleported without losing my inventory, yet I still lose it.
