Is this server instability normal?

I'm not trolling or attempting to be rude here at all. However, I'm a returning player from quite a while ago. Before MM took over. I realize a new patch just launched and so things are being worked on.

However, that being said, there seems to generally be a patch about once a month.

So this harkens back to my question. Is this amount of server instability normal after a patch, if so that's rough at once a month. If not, cool. I'm just curious.

Yeah it crashes pretty much after each patch. It's usually fixed after a few days. The lag however is another issue that will be addressed very soon (for release or a bit before).

i'd say stick with it - it's pretty normal after a patch and recently we've been getting lots of patches
I assume once expeditions hit, most patching work will be done there and the main server will be much more stable except for the occasional ending of an expedition.

Bugs are just not discovered or reported properly on the test server it seems

I still think we should have a "test server" where JC invites people who submitted a lot of bugs or are good at breaking the server. Instead of letting people on the testserver to fraps a tutorial of how one should play a tutorial......

In short, the first thing people try every new patch is "will this crash the server?"

It would be very silly for one to assume this hasn't already happened.

Aah very good !! I wasn't aware of that and past related comments did make us assume you had no interest in such a thing.

Ah, Perhaps early early early on. The bigger problem is that it is not entirely an 'easy 'choice to just flood the test server. I do consider that 'some' things players could find or see when walking around could provide an unfair advantage on how ot prepare for a patch etc. etc.
