In short, HnHers dislike JC and his personality/ego. (he is quite fond of tear as y'all can see)
I myself can't neither prove that he is right or wrong. Anyone?

I have never heard of anything like that until now. Dunce cap is the only instance of this and it was deserved.

Nah, it wasn't.

There was also the Dev Griefing Perma-Donkey Hat that they gave out to a couple of people along with a couple of people getting the Dunce perma-griefing hat. But he's referring to the argument about the Tribe breaking up because of their belief that a Dev used Dev powers to kill one of them.

Personally I'm glad they've stopped griefing individual players as dev's with the perma-hat's. I think it was a huge waste of Dev time and really bad for the game. I think it shows that they're serious about bringing the game to market by not doing it anymore.

i think it was awesome, especially giving how good-looking the asshat turned out and how eventually many people wanted one :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

I think there could be a case made for a "cosmetic" hat such as the dunce or ass hat where the devs and/or community could force it onto someone for deserving it for a period of 3 days or so. Could be something fun to add eventually. To do it and actually hinder a player because they can't use a better piece of gear and can't play the game (and thus players never get to see the hat) is hurtful.

A parent doesn't "grief" a child when they put the child in the corner. Please try not to confuse punishment with griefing.

Some people just never understand. Or rather, try not to be understanding.
Edit: by that I mean they will always find a way to criticize for the shake of criticizing. Not that I understand that parental issue, or agree with it.

I wonder if Claeyt was one of those children that called the police on his parents when they spanked him.
