Traveled the world and here is what I found:

snowball: behaves like a tumbleweed, but disappears in a very short time, both on the ground and in the inventory (5-10 seconds)

I'm going to try and just focus on the patch updates page and work from there. Let me know if my blatant copy/paste ends up broken as proof reading it AND digging up all of JC's update posts will take a bit.

Finally working again? I'll get to work once I finish tilling my garden out back. Good to see it back. Was missing this. :3
Keep calm and stay peachy.

Its wasn't down, but it was basically dead, and all the active editors moved to the other wiki.
We will have to see if people will continue to edit this one now that it is getting more attention.

well it be nice to see the old wiki going again, since it seems like the tribe wiki has been flaky to access lately (at least for me?)

Old wiki is near set to run updates. You can copy/paste the source from the tribes over and any funky formatting ( like {{{frontier & wilderness}}}Frontier & Wilderness) is either fixed or soon to be fixed, and isn't something to worry about.

If you don't believe me give it a go:
Visit a page at salem-wiki.com and you'll see at the top right "View Source", click that, select all, copy, go to salemwiki.info, type that same page name into the search bar, hit edit, select all, and paste over it deleting all old info. If the page doesn't exist it will set you up with a fresh box to create it, and feel free to paste it there.

The Tribes wiki is also off some info so in the meantime anyone can feel free to fact-check it. If any format issues come up, double editing, bad pasting, etc it'll be caught. There's a few thousand pages and it will take a communal effort to do it all, and once people start using it correcting things will be a lot easier. The biggest issue holding the Wiki back was some really benign template updates that screwed every edit made past a specific update, which I am addressing. I can correct these issues a lot easier the more the individual pages of Inspirationals/Artifacts/Equipment/Structures/Skills/etc are actually mocked up.

So is there a way to copy the wiki database? I was wondering since I haven't done a lot of complex wiki stuff like templates if I could use such database locally for learning without hosing everything up first?
