I second this idea, then when the tree is fully mature it destroys the mine from breaking the support beams around the entrance.

how about being able to pick branches from a tree still in the pot?
then i can just put the pot down where i originally wanted to plant the tree in the first place.

how about thinking before you build anything, this problem could easily be avoided if you spend some time thinking about how your base layout should be

i did... not my fault the hitboxes on stuff is all ***** up.

back when i played last you could put trees right next to a wall... i had heard that you couldn't place trees next to each other any more to prevent tree walls.... but that doesn't even matter any more because trees are so much more easy to chop down then they use to be.
all these restrictions on trees to prevent tree walls and then they go and make trees like chopping threw butter any way..... they need to put trees back how they were since now they are easy to chop through... not point in a tree wall if they are easy to chop through.... and we would be able to make our villages look nice by placing trees in nice spots.

Please do this.

I don't see a problem with the tree planting, but the wardrobe and the cupboards in a house not being able to be against a wall is an issue IMO.
