It is actually the opposite. A bat sucking blood from your neck can actually cure maroon fever.

Add a corset and/or bodice to fit in the armor slot - not all of us want our outfits mared with the glinting metal.

Corset = silk x3, enforced seam x2, bones x 6 - 1 slots
Bodice = Indian cotton x 4, Chantry lace x2, Amber corse grain thread x1 - 2 slots
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Craftable and usable beds, increases inspirational gain while in use but keeps character logged in.

Then, add sex.

- The corset tends to go underclothing and has bone (or metal) ribs to hold its shape.

Image
- This is worn over clothing, more often cotton then leather like this one.

This way the steel armor is still very much where you want to go if maxamising your buffs is what you are aiming for, but these would give a little more veriaty sacraficing slots for a much lighter weight.

The Bodice should be more than two slots it's rather expensive compared to the priestly stole. But then a question: How would it look like on men? That's a very specific gender related clothing and that would mark a difference between the clothing of male and female characters - which is not in itself a bad thing but could cause balance issues.

While it is quite gender specific, its would not look too bad fitted to a man, compaired to the dress we currently have

I see that I'm slowly slipping in the treacherous path of gender studies. I'll stop here and wait for JC's wisdom :)

Men's corsets where not uncommon especially in the European courts. They usually were made to flatten out a man's figure rather than create an hourglass like womens were.
