I can't play any audio atm, but did dialogues explain any basics? Even loftar's old tutorial explained stuff like gluttony etc.
I have seen nothing like this in the tutorial. Unless the manual book will explain some stuff?

I suspect that the tutorial video was made without having the help menu boxes cleared. All new sessions, and all players who type the console command :act help _clear. Will see a popup box explaining such things.

Yeah it has a narrator explaining, rather than any text. It's some of the basics, but to be honest this is salem, and there are never enough basics explained, so it seems like a good start. Anything more would've taken too much time, and past this point the suggestion to join a town is their best bet at getting people educated. Other than .. "Love the forums and the wiki" xD

You mean the narrator explains it at that point in the video? As I said, I have no audio atm and dunno if I should take your comment as
"yes, dialogues explain some stuff, for example at 7:22"
or as
"hey look, at 7:22 there's this box "gluttony some food and gain a humour point", so everything's explained!"

No i was going to say 1° but linking you to the part of the video where gluttony is needed to advance in the tutorial so you could watch later seemed more appropiate
