How do I find Coords?

Postby pistolshrimp » Fri Apr 03, 2015 2:05 am

As far as I've gotten.

I have an alt at the location, and another character in Boston. Both logged in and in a party with each other.

I try hitting Crt + Q thinking it should bring up the location tool, but nothing is popping up.

What am I doing wrong here?

PS. I am using Enders.

Isn't that a Kandarim only feature?

Total COORD nub here. So I've got the location tool up, it says grab, I am in a party, what am I supposed to grab, I get that its supposed to be that party member whose coords i need, but what on the screen do I click? I tried square party member box with the big x near it, and the persons name on the buddies list and neither gave me any numbers.

First, click their portrait so you are heading towards them. Then, before you run into something, click 'grab' and you'll get relative distances. You have to be moving on course for it to work.

it'll grab the distance to the end point of your current movement. If you're standing still, it'll grab the end coord of your next movement.
And yes, Kandarim-only feature :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

because in such case, it's not the player moving, but the boat: the tool only checks player movement.
