You can still do a point system here if you wanted.

It might be better to do that honestly. Though how many people can wrap their head around it and get away from silver in general I'm not to sure about.

Not much faith from me. 3:

No one haggles because people don't actually want the item or they want it dirt cheap (like Heffernan for example). They will only buy WSS for 500s because they know they can resell those for 800s easily or use them and not feel bad about "losing" silver. Personally if I really want something you will see me haggle but I can usually convince myself I don't need the item or I can get it myself (and then I end out killing thousands of snake to get one WSS and regretting not buying one).

Yeah people trying to buy low at a very large margin kinda make me sick. I'll be selling a xtra WSS and then some random person tries to tell me they are only 400s now.

Its like cat herding. Everyone thinks its a joke but they be damned that they know not how difficult it is. Implying cat herding is like the lost art of haggling. Indeed I am.

On an off-topic note. How many people have haggled the price of a meal at a family restaurant. I do it every time.

This is a ridicolous notion. Everything non living has a price in the real world. I dont see why we should compare Salem with other games. Or would you like for us to compare it with games like World of Warcraft and say your sentence about other things ingame?

The person in question did not even consider asking for a Unreal amount of silver or something like that. He merely noted he was not interested in silver.

Let me know what upper echelon of items in the real world you would not be able to buy for dollars. I for sure cant think of any.

When a currency is not worth trading with in a game. The currency is flawed.

Oh and Im paying good silver for A prospectors pan & Butchers knife to anyone who still values Silver.

Nope its not sarcasm. I dont mind that but when a person would not consider trading an item for silver which could then be used to buy w/e item they required. Now that is Sad & clear proof the economy of Salem is going the wrong way.

It is the bartering & trading that ive enjoyed most in Salem. Now i feel silly for selling stuff i have for silver when its worth seem to go down.
