This entire argument falls on proper base planning. If someone can not properly plan their base for the duration-that they are there then they have no one to blame but themselves. You do not need a hundred crates laying around if you can make a kiln and a clay trough. Upgrade your storage. Once you have enough urns and can afford to upgrades to chests then do such. So on and so forth. Understanding how to plan for what you need to use is vital as well and is present in Salem & H&H. Yes you can store damn well near infinite grass and berries in an alt. but do you need to? Why not simply invest in an entire grid filled with nothing bud shrubs as well as a mine filled with pots waiting to be filled with any growable item. That is more logical than mass storing everything as you "might need it one day" compared to building utilities and facilities for use within hours of your needs. I can understand hoarding raw materials such as metal bars, cloth, leather and what not but not so much for such lesser items. It makes more sense to invest into haystacks than simply hoarding grass that you can mass produce in pots.
This kind of falls on someone complaining a year or two ago about not being able to store all of their coal due to them making 50 coal clamps. Use common sense; not ask for assistance in your faults.
