Easiest way to get Gelatinous Lard?

currently i found 2 methods:
- killing beavers
- collecting and roasting hickory nuts

..and since i need lots of it are there more ways?

buying it from stalls is too easy and is quite costly

Roasting anything can get you lard - even roasting carrots can. So far I think its safe to say that getting lard has the same chance whatever you roast.

Beavers is the easiest way, with least cost. Especially if you have Viscera & Bits

definitely is so: wishpoosh give a lot of lard.
I recently stumbled on the fact that roasting corn also gives lard - because corn seeds are weightless, you can probably queue up 1000 pieces of the things (only taking 10k seeds for that!) and just let loose.
