Diseased and other fishing questions

Postby Jolly_Fish » Sun Mar 22, 2015 8:43 am

I have started to play again and I have noticed that there are a lot of bodies around town. Are diseases really that out of control?

also

Are there any new fish to the game? The last time I played I made alot of fishing traps while I learned to use a pole.

People are just throwing out all of their old alts now that you can kill them for free with disease.

Yes and no. You can be killed if you're really really stupid, so in a sense stupidity if out of control. Really tho, those are mostly just alts, or characters no one cared about anymore. Kind of sad when you think about it.

No. Unless you count oysters and crawdads in fish traps.

That is a lot of alts being 'deleted'

Oh yes oysters and crawdads are new to me!

Has anything changed with fishing other then those new under water friends?

Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

So when I get diseased I need to keep eating medicine until the debuff goes away?

you need to make sure you take the right medicen for your illness (which you work out by watching your symptoms) taking too many cures of the wrong medicen will actually make it harder for you to cure yourself. It might take more then a few doses to cure you but you must wait a short time (I find 30 seconds to a min) between doses as the effect takes a little time. this page should help you find the right illness you have and the cure you need: http://www.salem-wiki.com/mediawiki/index.php?title=Disease

There are lobsters in the sea as well, but you won't catch them inland.
