Yet your claiming such things will work / help the player base, yet i see you doing "nothing" like you just mentioned to help this kind of growth to keep new players in the game or interested in playing. I See your suggestion to help new players is good, however its all "community generated", and lets fact it, some of the community cannot be trusted, and the numbers are going down day by day, You say they "can take in new players", none of them are.
And these events are what mold a community together, I'm not going to tell you how to counter me because if you cannot evolve past the first stage of griefing you'll definitely crumble at the second stage. You're the bluebie, you step up and do something, that simple. Also you can't trust everyone in the real world or else you'll get *****, so really if anything you should learn to see through the ***** or else not play multiplayer games where people can take advantage of you. Salem may look bad now, but once content is added it'll jump in population by over 200 people even without opening beta up to the public. Most people just log in to do their crops and do gluttony, much like Dallane just stated he does, that will change once more stuff is added to the game.
a whole 200 people on the server. wow. When i first started playing salem it had more actives, i have been apart of guild vs guild pvp battles on other games with bigger members and hundreds of guilds, please do not make me laugh.
Small time game u have in mind, 200 people *Yawn*. I want the current salem world / enviroment with 10,000+ players like some other serious games have, and have salem being a whole new gaming gene to online gaming, and change the online gaming world.
Maybe thats too ambitious, but i am at least giving strong idears and other suggestions to try and make this happen, yet its all the same fanny bantis who slam every kind of suggestion into the floor.

and thats one of the reasons it had such a "small" community, you think the first thing "most gamers" want to do before they play a game is read a wiki / forum for 2-3 days ? Haha they have already skipped salem and moved onto the next potential game they get addicted to.
Newb island, Educate the gaming world to the new gene salem bring to the mmo world. If you do not want a huge player base, thats your problem, well and the devs also, who does not want more money and a huge well known game ?
