How high do you think the weekly rent should be?

I don't actually think rent should be much higher as that would discourage stalls from selling cheap or slower moving goods.
Thus I think you need a new mechanism to turnover rarely used stalls. Perhaps you also lose a stall if no new sales for three weeks?

Good idea..

This wouldn't work.
If someone has a stall only an absurdly high rent or them stopping playing Salem/losing intrest in owning a stall will make them give it up. Maybe people should look to incentivize sellers who actually sell rather than punish those who don't.

I think I already said it somehere , but in my opinion it should be a rental : we should keep a stall for a week or two , at the end of it money is sent to bank , remaining objects are sent to postmail (with a limited time to recover them) ; and then an automated auction begin during 24H to determine who will have the ownership for the next week.
In fact I've been tempted to sell mine several times because I don't really need it , but at the moment it's really easy to make cash (in and out stall), even with a 1000s rent I think I would have never paid it (JC can I have figures for my stall?) since November.
