There is no trust in Salem.
Moreover here are the top reasons why veterans usually don't take noobs in their village:
1) They might be traitors. Alts that are here to scout your town, open it from inside, loot it, etc.
2) Noobs are noobs. You need to teach them the ropes and they are a very long term investment which has a low success rate.
3) Will you quit? A noob might quit the game without leaving a trace because he is bored or got killed. He might not have the right mentality to play a permadeath game.
4) Mistake. They might do a mistake like slotting a black pearl in a fresh 25 diff Admiral's Hat after trying to teasel it. Seeing the failure they might dump it in the river. (Ouch)

Better pray you dont need them antlers... 6 hours to have skills and conditions to find some leeches, antlers, colombine, willow bark, grinder, clay, pot, water, stone, fire... Then, the hardest part of devs denial, the actual cure.... Its so random it makes me think the disease code is radomly generated by a virus. And devs wonder why newbies dont adhere to their fundamentalism ridden game... Obvious answer was just stated above, newbies dont deserve this game, as this game dont deserve newbies... Justice indeed
5 Minutes to go to the forums and find some people who sell cures.
10 Minutes to find a few savage charms to afford multiple uses of ALL the cures.
20 Minutes later you are cured.

Not to mention newbies will know a little about what lies ahead (IE that you can catch diseases in Providence) as long as they read the tutorial messages allowing them to act accordingly. Honestly, I walk around Providence all the time without a mask without getting sick; newbies, theoretically, should be able to do the same.

the kind of twats that would spam boston with alts already have said alts spawned from the old system
Hell, in about an hour's notice I could probably spam boston with 300+ alts, all from the same, old scouting account. I bet there are people that were even worse than me. Maybe one of these days i'll do it just to get rid of all the characters. april 1st is coming up anyway
