With a long tail like that? I don't think so. The prowling look, the color of the robe and the legs definitely look like a cougar to me.

The tail of calves is not as important as a balancing tool as feline's. In the picture it is clearly used that way. And still the robe does not fit calves. Moreover Cows and the such will be introduced in the Animal Husbandry Patch not the Newbie's Patch ;p

I am afraid that there is no 'balancing' physics in this game just hardcoded animations so your argument is invalid here.

Don't tell John when to release calves. Maybe he decided that they need to be added earlier becasue it takes a lot of time for them to become cow or bull.

Seriously? Just because the game doesn't have physics doesn't mean the models in it can't be animated to behave like the real world animal they represent. Calves never hold their tails straight out like this, they raise them to poo but in a much more curved manner. As Argentis says, felines raise their tail in this way for balance, therefore the model looks more like a feline. It has nothing to do with in game physics.

This reminds me of when I suggested to Jorb and Loftar that they should add a water butt to houses to collect rain water and they seemed to think that would mean they had to implement rain... Why does everything in game have to be so literal?

Because your stupid idea would make no sense unless they implemented rain. You are also speaking to programmers.

They wouldn't have to implement rain. The butt could simply collect water at a constant rate
