Animals get stuck in obstacles

Postby pestilence123 » Tue Mar 10, 2015 12:46 pm

It's happened before with snakes, and now also happens with rats. Animal becomes aggressive to the character and runs at him, but if animal path meets an obstacle (old logs, stumps), it sometimes gets stuck in it. Animal model remains in obstacle, but in fact it is still runs. It is hard to kill it when you did not see it. All this would be insignificant, but the bite of snakes and rats gives a very nasty debuffs.

Rat moonwalking!

Postby Rifmaster » Tue Mar 10, 2015 8:03 pm

I swear it happens so often, sometimes when a rat hits an obstacle, it pathfinds around it and then it just stands on its back legs and moves toward the player shaking a bit.
Also it loses its gob path if thats related to it or something.
I'll test it out a bit more and hopefully i'll get a good screenshot.

There we go, there you can see 1 of the rats losing its gob path, and walking on its front legs, this can also happen with the rat on its back legs, on all 4 legs, basically in all poses.

C'mon bug hat

This sometimes happens with snakes, as well.

Looks like these are similar if not identical issues. I've merged them together.
