Not sure why i missed the dross part lol. Anyway it could be if its left for too long. I took mine right away. And I know at least 2 more ppl who did same (0 dross).

Given the long time to make steel I decided to not make the dross "luck based". If you get dross, then you did something wrong. I'll leave it to the community to find out what that 'wrong' thing was.

o.O ...thanks, that was unexpected though.

From what I did gather myself:
They burn for 7,5 day (might be a bit off due to server crashes and downtime)

@JC: I did not count the time, and I did not note when we started our furnance, yet it seems it is not full days.
Assuming it is important to take them out right on time, an offset of 0.5 days seems odd, as some people can only play on a certain time of the day.

Sadly, but my coffin heated in furnace 7 days + 1 or 2 hours. Sadly, because i put coffins in the furnace a week ago, before going to work. And today i sat in the subway, while the bars transformed into beautiful steel. And i can remove them only in the evening.

it's gone after you collect steel/dross
