After reviewing the list of available instruments I couldn't help but notice that there is no Glockenspiel. As a person who has ever had learned to play at only this one instrument I find this lack to be a severe discrimination of me.

Can we form music bands in-game? Ie is there some kind of a solution for latency causing musicians to play out of sync with each other?

Conceptually what you're describing is impossible (a solution to latency) while giving musicians complete autonomy of manually playing notes. Should these instruments actually be playable ( ¦] ), the best solution would, imo, be to implement something like LOTRO's music playing. It's my understanding that they use a .abc library (like Starbound, if you're familiar) so that players can share the file and play together when joining a "band." In LOTRO (correct me if I'm wrong, I haven't played it only did some light research), you can play notes as well as .abc files, creating your own music as you play in game.

Of all the nice things possible, though, this would be the nicest.

Well yeah, figures that we'd have to use predetermined sheet music to play in unison. But can it be an active thing rather than just watching your character play? Some sort of a Guitar Hero minigame perhaps.

Also, please add a witch spell that adds distortion to the sound of instruments so we can really rock it :D

music playing in LOTRO was great and pretty much as you described. I always hoped to see something similar in salem ^_^

Good lord. What horrors have I unleashed by helping JC with the instruments? Y'all mother ***** better not abuse the power of music, ya hear?! :evil: (I like that the evil face kind of reminds me of a pissed off Beethoven)
