I dont think it would be for PVP it would be impossable to use in this sort of game. Maybe you can use them for diffrent things like the drums could be used to perform a rain dance that would help crops. The violin maybe for gluttony, like having someone play as you eat and the harp...oh, maybe for talioring and sloting clothes. That would turn those tasks into slightly more group events/jobs.

Have you seen the music notes on the action bars?
Surely it would be to use for different things like wardrums, raining or inspiration, but why not for community events?
