I use a SNES control while playing Salem sometimes, it doesn't work for everything but its nice for some stuff and I'm sure it would not be that much harder to rig up a more modern controller.

Well, i've been too grateful to have new things to complain that some of them aren't pretty enough, but since Juda has brought it up i want to speak my mind... please don't yell at me

the quality of graphics being introduced seems to be highly variable. some are really great! Some things look so so nice, like, some of the new flowers and hats etc are really well done! Rubble boulders are surprisingly good looking! but also, now and then something comes up which stands out to me as being not quite as good as the other things. The first things i think of are our tea bushes and most of the potato foods icons. The growing potatoes themselves i don't find to look as nice as other crops, but that one may just be a matter of personal taste. I don't find the eternal flame graphic that bad myself. I wonder if many people have been noticing the same things as being below the quality we're used to in salem, and if so maybe the devs might consider giving maybe some of them a small make-over at some point?

Anyway most of the stuff we've been getting looks very nice gj devs!!

Let me guess, JC suggested something that look even nastier?

Who else would you be speaking for? Are you saying that you are posting on someone else's behalf when not saying "IMO" at the end?

Since it's a 4-direction d-pad and 6 button controller, no, it wouldn't be hard. You just map the d-pad to WASD output*, and the buttons to whatever you want. For a joystick/thumbstick, you need a bit more control built into a client rather than just remapping. I'm not sure if it could be done in a client without server support or not.

*not to mention all the gaming peripherals that have d-pads on them that have up-to-date drivers for major operating systems.
