Expiry time limits

Hi,

Do some items have a life span?

What i mean is do they cease to exist after a certain amount of time?

This is either a relevent question or someone is stelaing my basic items.

A whittling bench that was in my camp yesterday is gone today.

i haven't set up an official claim with the claim certificate etc.

I would have thought if someone doesn't log in for a while then their stuff would disappear but for it to just evaporate doesn't make much sense

Most stuff will decay if its not claimed. Though its also possible that someone just smashed it for ***** and giggles. If you want to keep something claim it.

Building and various items in the game experience what is called "decay" when built off claim or off city limits. Every few hours a tick of decay is applied to the building doing a random amount of damage. Solutions to remedy to this issue are:
a) repair your building before logging off
b) claim your area
