Repair Imbalance?

Postby Kharris » Sat Feb 28, 2015 10:33 am

So it takes 1 granite and 3 stone to build a stone wall segment. Not a problem (maybe too easy).

But to repair a stone wall segment from 6% to full takes 58 granite! Good grief...

Is this correct or a bug of some kind?

It is correct to ensure that it remains difficult to constantly repair walls and keep raiders away.

The cost to repair the walls is the best way to insure that a player who spends 10 min trying to brake down your stone hedge won't have his hard work negated by you spending 1 second and one granite to. Just be thankful the devs were kind enough to let us build the wall for just 1 granite and 3 stone.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

I asked a simple question dude and I don't need you to tell me what I should be thankful for - you are not my mother :) :)

I appreciate the need to balance attack against repair and I see that slowing down repair of a segment to reduce granite requirements isn't very feasible as it isn't particularly quick at the moment.

However, after making some changes to my walls if anyone requires any granite within a wide area of my base they are going to be unlucky.

I tried digging granite boulders from stony patches, but that just leaves untidy piles of stone boulders everywhere. Any chance of increasing drop rate for granite from them?

There is a skill, and a proficiency, that drastically increases granite boulders that come from stone quarries.

Lusewing is not a "dude" and she is the mother of all the female characters in the game. Show some respect punk. And for untidy stone boulders just blow them up with boomsticks.
