Useless how? I allows you to store 3 steaks in the space of 1.

Butchers thrift is ok, But Viscera and bits took a bit of a hit since beavers no longer give gels. but rather tails, and anyone can collect them now without the skill even a 5/5/5/5 char, given that they can kill the beaver.

My suggestion is to remove the lard and then switch the recipes. So wild turkey then only requires Pine nut stuffing, and dom turkey now requires pine nut stuffing with 6 "Any Plant".

P.S. Keeping lard in the recipe prevents it from ever being made as the cost of making it is too high aka you can sell lard at 35-40s per as its in high demand for building brick walls. I actually don't like this suggestion because it would make baking dom turkey more expensive, but for balancing I think I should suggest it.

That would make stuffed wild turkeys way too easy to spam. They should be cheaper then they are now but making them cheaper than stuffed dom turkeys would greatly reduce the usefulness of dom turkeys.
A better idea would be to replace lard with onions and carrots.

Wild turkeys are supposed to be inferior to encourage players to domesticate them. Also, domestic turkeys don't need the lard as they are already fat and succulent. If you want to talk about this more, please do it in the food balance thread.

Replace digging animation with chipping animation when quarrying, it'd look more true to life. And maybe add a small boost to quarrying when using a pick.

Walking under ladders is bad luck. And so is walking under Smelters. I am doing you a favor.
