Fight Club

I guess this is a known issue, but after learning the Clubbing Skill, and creating the simple club, I found that it can not be used for the relevant attack. Can someone give me an hint whether I need to do something differently to make it work, or maybe there is another weapon that I could use with it? (feel free to make it a very detailed hint. )

I did that*. It is complaining that it is not a blunt weapon. (The primitive club: http://www.salem-wiki.com/mediawiki/ind ... itive_Club)

* Update: Nope, I thought I did that, but I actually did something else.

So, experimented with this a bit again, and the result is:
If I hold the club in the right hand, and there is nothing in my other hand, I get an error message that I need to hold a blunt weapon in my right hand.
If I hold it in the left hand (the tool hand), and my right hand is empty, it works perfectly.
