HELP PLS Crime problems

Well so i just started playing the game and wanted to test out how crime works. And i entered someone property and got the crime debuff. Which is not saying any time and has not gone away for half an hour already. I am like halfway across the map from that place now and yes my Criminal Acts is turned OFF. I made sure of it. Srsly i have gone so far away and Wiki says it should go away faster. What do i do it won't go away and i can't do anything now...

It shows the number "1" in the right corner of the little Crime thing, and the bar is 1/4 for half an hour, did not move even a pixel closer to 0...

Go further away, it will wear off eventually. It will take longer if you don't, but it will wear off.

Dude i kept going away for half an hour straight i didn't stop for anything, but i think it's bugged cuz the bar never moved a pixel, even now i kept going away and away so far it takes me 1 minute to scroll the map back to the point i did the crime

It's a known issue that the bar doesn't quite "update" conveniently.

Half an hour is no way near " half way across the map" man, go further

An FYI, an half hour is less than a tenth of the map, and that's assuming you were able to move in a straight line. Yes, the map is that big. (I'm assuming you're not on a horse and moving at the normal walk speed.)

I hope you tried crime with an alt. Otherwise your main will probably die. Cheers.

Yeah, the bar only has 2 positions, off claim and 100%. You have to go very far to get the 100%. It takes about 2 hours on just "off claim." Keep running, or just wait it out.

The bar shows the 'speed' at which the crime is ticking off. At 1/4 you are ticking off at 25% speed. When the bar is 'full' it will take less than 1/2 hours from there.
