Keys - seems to not be working right

should still be at least able to attune a key if you have the master key... same way you can change locks if you have the master key.

you can attune a master key back and forth as often as you want, though, as long as you have the character it's attuned to.

and I agree that it's a nice thing that a slave key can only be attuned once, logging in an alt every time you want to open a gate isn't the greatest thing to do.

we have never had that problem in salem
and people were not able to use any key before ether.. it had to be attuned.

Its not at all hard to just attune the key to the person you want to have it. And if you want them to be able to reattune it then give them a master key.

Make a copy.
Right click that copy onto the person. That will attune the key to him.
Give him the key.
Tell him to be careful.

1: Slave Key (silver key - copies can not be made with this key)
click the silver key icon: makes a copy of the master key (gold key) in your inventory (make sure it high lights the right master key)
pick up one of the keys so it is linked to your mouse, right click the person you want to give the key to. (the name of the key should turn from green letters to red letters)
then give them the key.

2: Master key (gold key copy - can make other master copies, slave key copies and change locks)
click the gold key icon that says COPY: makes a duplicate MASTER KEY - make sure you have the right key in your inventory and it is highlighted
pick up the key and so it is linked to your mouse pointer and right click the person you are giving it to. (the key name should change from green letters to red letters)
give them the key
