where did the election go? last i saw darwoth was winning with 7-8 votes.

Had a sudden realization of alternate forum accounts for voting. Knowing Darworth, I can't risk a chance of a crack.

i know atleast 3 real people who voted for Darwoth, with himself voting him thats still more then the 2 other people had..

Hey it may have all been valid votes, but theres no real way to know. It's just better to play it safe in this case and assume the poll thing was just a bad idea.

You could ask the mods if they would be willing to screen votes by IP.

Meaning 1 vote per IP, however people could still use a proxy.

In the end, it should not be a choice of the community, but by you alone. You are the current guardian of franklin therefor only you are able to choose who is worthy enough to replace yourself.

You should let everyone have there own say in why they should get franklin, you should come to a decision on youre own, maybe with some input / advice from the elders around you.

I would be willing to take a count of PM votes if Nictos wants. Just add a requirement that anyone who wants to vote must have made at least one post somewhere on the forums before this thread was posted. It might disqualify one or two new players, but it should also get rid of 99.9% of possible cheat votes.

I will have a say in 2 parts - the 3 candidates to who I feel would be the best choices for Franklin, and a third of the vote power. I am (hopefully) intending that this system will carry on through the generation of prophets.

In regards as to why I'm taking people's choice into consideration is because I conceptualized Franklin as a symbol for the people of Salem. In this game, players without power do not have a voice. Together, however, their voice becomes loud and clear. I created Franklin to eventually be able to unite their voices into a collection called the Church of Franklin. My job was to bring him to life and steer the idea towards a direction, but in order for me to continue the vision, other Prophets. A prophet is someone that believes this idea strong enough and can fight for that idea and make it a reality. Naturally, the voices that call Franklin "stupid" become nothing but pebbles in the path. Also, the chosen Prophet will be undergoing training before stepping up for the job.

Note that it's the people that highest in ranking that are against Franklin. This is why Darworth will not, and cannot be a candidate.

not sure what you are talking about and do not much care, however this is what i figured would happen and was verified as soon as i started winning the poll and the poll was deleted

let it be known whoever ends up with franklin will be killed and their village destroyed.
