*Wild Columbine Paste now requires consumption to work. ( From the patch notes ) How do i do this? I am only getting the option to eat now. I believe before it also had a consume option.

Yea, i was thinking the same thing. Why then put this in the patch notes?

Because it was a known bug that sometimes you could get cured by just opening a container with the paste in it without actually having to consume it.
