Eventually every town will have a TBC/TBF claim locking it down with a 'Donut Town' to protect it.

Every....Single....Town.

For people that don't like who their taxes go to and don't want to actively take down those towns, there is another option, stop using the stalls, just trade on the forums or with merchants in game.

I've held back on buy a stall for just this reason. You can't make any money owning a stall anyways according to most people I talk to.

Maybe you should own one and find out how much of a liar people are. If you are selling things people will want then you will do well with a stall. If you are selling mushrooms and the like then you will not do well at all.

Half of them are empty most of the time now. I owned several stalls last world and made okay money. The 5 or 6 players I've talked to about it have said they basically make less money making the stuff for the stall than if they just wandered around for an hour foraging for feathers and arrowheads.

Thing is, with a stall you can do both.

So if they are earning even as little amount form the stall, and foraging for stuff, its still profit all round. It does not take long to fill a stall with excess things you have laying around.

During the last month I wasn't really playing, was only feeding turkeys, paying claims and throwing some easy to get things in my stall (~20 nails every couple of days, brains, 0% bear steaks, leather) all of that takes ~15-30 minutes per day, yet I didn't have to pay taxes from my pocket, which means my stall makes atleast a thousand per week with pretty much zero effort on my side.
